Congratulations on becoming a brand ambassador. You are now the brand’s superhero.
Here are the basics.
Bloggers on Triberr are contracted to represent a brand in a genuine and enthusiastic way for a period of 4 weeks or longer.
Bloggers are fairly compensated for their ambassadorship. The amount varies but it’s usually around $300 per blogger, per month.
You’ll be working with other bloggers in a collaborative way to meet the objectives of the campaign.
Each campaign is little bit different, but generally speaking, bloggers are expected to write 3-4 campaign related posts per month.
They are:
- Declaration Post
- Campaign themed post
- Free style post about the campaign
What is a Declaration Post?
Declaration Post is a blog post that accomplishes 3 things.
- Announces blogger’s association with the brand thus starting the relationship off with 100% transparency.
- It gives the blogger something to brag about.
- It creates impressions and raises awareness for the brand and the campaign.
Here are few examples of Declaration Posts from a previous campaign:
- First Beauty Lesson: Clean Skin Is Clear Skin
- Ambassador Announcement + Win a Trip to New York courtesy of Almay
- Surprisingly Almay
What is a Campaign themed post?
Each campaign will be built around some theme.
For example, one of the first campaigns we ran was with Almay, and the theme was Makeup Moments with Mom.
Fashion and makeup bloggers had a field with this one. Here are few examples of campaign themed posts:
Free style post about the campaign
This can be a post about anything as long as it advances the objectives of the campaign.
For example, when Almay ambassadors were asked to free style a post about Almay, most of them chose to write about their favorite Goldie Hawn or Kate Hudson movie.
Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson are global spokespersons for Almay, so the tie-in was seamless.
Collaborative Campaigning
A unique feature of brand ambassadorship through Triberr, is the collaborative approach to campaigning.
Every time you publish a new blog post, everyone in your campaign tribe is obliged to share it across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
This means that if 100 people are part of the campaign, you are virtually guaranteed 99 shares on Twitter, 99 shares on Facebook, etc.
In other words, people will see your post, so make it good.
